Most cashews are crunchy and taste like a salted buttery nut. These raw, unsalted & unroasted cashews have a soft texture and are not typical to your palate. Try roasting them in your oven at home with the desired flavor of your choice to get the crunch you’ve been looking for – we like adding salt and pepper! They are safe to eat directly from the bag because they have been pasteurized. This means they have gone through steam treatment.
