We believe food can—and should—play a major role in finding solutions for the next generation.
We believe social impact is a constant effort that we consider a duty to our community, to which we owe so many of our successes. We believe in leading by example and contributing to causes greater than our specific mission. With Glenda’s Farmhouse, on building a healthier, more sustainable food chain. One of the reasons we’re excited about the food industry is that it provides a new perspective—and sense of urgency—about some of the environmental issues we’re already addressing. It also helps us engage with organizations more directly involved with food, like Chico State University and programs like the Center for Land Based Learning, which introduce children and young adults to the concept of growing, cooking and eating healthy, sustainable foods. These programs also focus on the agricultural aspect of land and water management.
We support organizations and events which are furthering education, research and support of regenerative agriculture.

As Alumni and proud supporters of agriculture, we have committed a six-figure gift to the expansion of the CSU Chico University Farm to go towards a farm store and education center. With this construction, students will have a full-spectrum farm-to-fork education with cutting-edge food processing lab and cross-disciplinary space to study food systems.
