None of the keto recipes using almond flour may be as versatile and crave-satisfying as the chaffle. Start with the Basic Chaffle as a foundation and season to achieve the flavor you want for bread, pizza, coffee cake, or other low-carb substitutes. You can make this keto staple with Glenda’s Farmhouse almond flour, eggs, cheese, and a mini waffle maker.

Basic Chaffle

    1. Whisk the ingredients together.
    2. Add half of the mixture to a preheated and sprayed mini waffle maker.
    3. Cook for three minutes until the steam from the waffle maker stops.
    4. Repeat for the other half of the mixture.

For breakfast, lunch, or dinner, if you’re craving bread while on a keto diet, think chaffle!

Chaffles are essentially cheese waffles made with almond flour rather than regular flour. They’re low-carb, gluten-free, sugar-free, and tasty solutions to a keto problem.

If you prefer to follow a meal prep plan, chaffles work well. You can keep them in the refrigerator and heat them using an air fryer, waffle maker, toaster, or stovetop. We suggest avoiding the microwave because they’ll get soggy. Freezing chaffles is also an option. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator or on the countertop for about 45 minutes when ready to eat them.
